The device features a 6.75-inch IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Unisoc T7250 chipset and ships with Android 15 layered with HIOS 15. The phone includes a 5,000mAh battery supporting 15W wired charging.
Tecno Spark Go 3 offers IP64-rated dust and splash resistance. The company claims 1.5-meter drop protection for daily accidents. Dual speakers and an infrared blaster add utility rarely seen in this price tier.
The handset carries a 13MP rear camera with PDAF support. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides biometric security.
Tecno Mobile, a subsidiary of China’s Transsion Holdings, has expanded aggressively in Pakistan’s budget segment over recent years. According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority data, smartphone penetration in Pakistan crossed 51% in 2024, reflecting steady adoption among young consumers. Market trackers such as Counterpoint Research rank Transsion brands, including Tecno and Infinix, among Pakistan’s top five smartphone vendors by shipments.
Pakistan’s overall mobile phone imports rose 181% year-on-year to $1.9 billion in FY2024, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics figures. The surge followed eased import restrictions and stabilizing foreign exchange reserves after the International Monetary Fund approved a $3 billion standby arrangement in 2023. Analysts say improved dollar liquidity helped smartphone assemblers resume shipments.
Local assembly has also supported device availability. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority reported that more than 21 million mobile phones were assembled locally in 2024, compared with about 1.5 million units imported commercially. The policy push under the Mobile Device Manufacturing Policy has encouraged global brands to expand local production lines.
Industry analysts say the sub-Rs30,000 category remains highly competitive. Brands such as Infinix, Itel and Xiaomi compete aggressively on display refresh rates and battery capacity. Counterpoint Research notes that entry-level smartphones accounted for nearly 40% of total shipments in Pakistan during 2024 as inflation squeezed household spending.
Pakistan’s headline inflation averaged above 20% during much of 2023 before easing in late 2024, according to State Bank of Pakistan data. Lower inflation and stable interest rates have slightly improved consumer purchasing power, though discretionary spending remains cautious.
Tecno Spark Go 3’s 120Hz display stands out in its bracket, where many rivals still offer 90Hz panels. The 5,000mAh battery aligns with market standards for endurance-focused devices. Analysts say features such as IP64 protection and drop resistance could appeal to first-time smartphone buyers and students.
Retailers in Lahore and Karachi reported early interest in the model’s design and battery performance. Online listings across major e-commerce platforms show immediate nationwide availability.
