Tesla Reduces Electric Car Prices in Australia
There has been good news for electric car fans in Australia. Tesla car prices in Australia have witnessed a sharp decline, ranging between $1,600 and $3,400.
Car lovers have witnessed a decline in prices of the best-selling EV in 2022 which was the Tesla Model 3.
This brand sees a decline in prices ranging between $1600 and $3400.
This move in Australia is considered the kick-start of the new year in Australia for electric car fans in wake of the reduction in price for all models and variants being currently put on sale.
Two other variants of Tesla Model Y-RWD and the Performance have also seen a cut in prices of $3,400 and $1,700 respectively compared to the previous prices.
There are reports that all delivery holders waiting for their deliveries will pay lower prices compared to the prices when they had placed orders in the past.
Tesla has not made any deliveries of Tesla Model Y Performance in Australia so far.
The company will be delivering the first batch of cars in the next few months.
Tesla raised the prices of EVs in 2022 despite the fact it had not been able to deliver cars.
It had even extended delivery time apparently in wake of rising demand. There are now reports that it would deliver all vehicles including Model 3 during the next four months.
Tesla opened a 12-stall V3 supercharger supercharge site in Australia in December 2022 and is expected to open more sites during the current year.
So, 2023 will be a good one for those who are looking to switch to EVs to hit the roads.
