Pakistan has faced a setback in the T20 World Cup against the United States (US) as all-rounder Imad Wasim has skipped the first match scheduled on June 6, 2024.

Babar told the media that Imad was suffering from injury. He said that this meant that he would not be able to play the opening match.
He added that Imad would be available for the remaining matches especially against India on June 9 in New York.
