Watch: South Africa Arrive in Pakistan for Test Series

Test squad of South Africa reached Lahore today to begin their two-match Test series against Pakistan, starting on October 12 in Lahore.

The winner of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-2025 will spend the coming days training and adjusting to local conditions ahead of the red ball contest.

The series marks the beginning of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle for both teams.

The two-match Test between the two sides will kick off on October 12 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore while the second will take place in Rawalpindi from October 20 to 24.

The Shan Masood-led side aim to make a strong start in the new championship after finishing at the bottom in the previous edition, losing nine of their 14 matches.

South Africa, meanwhile, will look to begin their title defence with consistent performances in subcontinental conditions.

Following the Test matches, both sides will compete in three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals between October 28 and November 8.

Yesterday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that tickets for the Test series between the two sides will go on sale at pcb.tcs.com.pk

Physical tickets will be available at TCS Express Centres starting from Thursday, 8 October, offering fans an opportunity to witness the ICC World Test Championship action live.

The Pakistan–South Africa series promises a thrilling mix of Test and white-ball cricket, giving fans across three major cities a chance to enjoy world-class competition.
