Royal GPX 02 Electric Scooter Launched in Pakistan

Royal GPX has introduced its 02 electric scooter in Pakistan, marking the brand’s entry into the country’s expanding electric two-wheeler market. The new scooter line is targeted at urban commuters and riders looking for an eco-friendly, fuel-free mode of transportation.
The 02 electric scooter is available in two variants: the standard 02 and the 02 MAX. Both come equipped with a 10-inch single-sided hub motor delivering 5 horsepower at 690 RPM and 148 Nm of torque at 90 RPM. They share a similar top speed of 85 km/h and feature disc brakes on both wheels for effective stopping power.
The primary difference between the two models lies in battery capacity and claimed range. The base 02 features a 3 kWh battery offering a riding range of approximately 90 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the 02 MAX variant is fitted with a larger 4.7 kWh battery pack, extending the range to about 120 km, catering to riders who require more travel distance between charges. Both models support charging from 30% to 80% in approximately 2.5 hours.
Royal GPX has equipped both variants with modern technological features such as a Combined Braking System (CBS), Traction Control System (TCS), cruise control, and selectable riding modes including Eco, Normal, and Sports. Additionally, the scooters boast a 5-inch LCD display, LED lighting, and a dedicated charging port, setting them apart from many conventional electric scooters available in Pakistan.
The launch of the 02 electric scooter arrives amid growing interest in electric vehicles in Pakistan, driven by rising fuel costs and increased awareness of sustainable commuting options. The scooter is positioned as a practical and stylish choice for students, office commuters, and other urban riders.
While the specifications and features are promising, the success of the Royal GPX 02 in Pakistan’s market will largely depend on its pricing, after-sales services, battery reliability, and availability of spare parts. As of now, the company has not announced official pricing for either variant.
Royal GPX’s move into electric scooters reflects a broader trend in Pakistan’s auto industry towards embracing green technologies. Potential buyers and enthusiasts are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates regarding availability and pricing.
