The crime-thriller film Jujji, which won first place at the Punjab Police Film Festival, has achieved major international attention.
The production is now available for streaming in both the United States and the United Kingdom through Amazon Prime.
A Punjab Police spokesperson said Inspector General Dr Usman Anwar congratulated director Habib Shahzad on the growing global success of the film.
He noted that privately produced films and dramas help highlight policing achievements while presenting law-enforcement challenges to a wider audience.
Officials added that the Punjab Police will continue encouraging independent filmmakers who create meaningful crime-based projects with strong public interest value.

Last year’s festival showcased several crime-themed productions from private studios, with Jujji topping every major category, including Best Story and Best Acting.
Veteran artists Touqeer Nasir, Usman Peerzada and Syed Noor served as judges during the festival, applauding the strong narrative and technical execution of the film.
The spokesperson said Jujji has already secured multiple national and international awards, strengthening its reputation beyond Pakistan.
The film portrays a series of brutal murders committed by a serial killer and follows the police investigation that ultimately leads to his arrest.
It presents detailed insights into investigative techniques and highlights the operational difficulties officers frequently encounter while pursuing complex criminal cases.
