Residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can now apply for police clearance certificates for visa purposes through a mobile application, without visiting a police station.

The newly launched “Police Sahulat Markaz” app allows applicants to submit requests within minutes by downloading the application on their mobile phones.

After opening the app, users are required to select the “Police Clearance for Visa” option, choose their destination country, district, and state the purpose of travel.

Applicants must also specify whether they will collect the certificate themselves or authorise a relative, in which case the relative’s details must be provided.

Once the information is saved, a PSID number appears on the screen, which can be used to pay the required fee through Easypaisa and complete verification through the National Database Registration Authority.

Two red markers indicate pending steps and turn green after payment and verification are completed.

Applicants can collect their police clearance certificates from the nearest Police Sahulat Markaz three days after verification.
