Gold prices rose sharply across Pakistan on Wednesday, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Associations, reflecting increases across local and international markets.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed to Rs 506,362, showing an increase of Rs 12,700 compared with the previous rates announced by the association.

Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose to Rs 434,123 after gaining Rs 10,888, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased to Rs 397,960.

International gold prices also moved higher, reaching $4,840, marking an increase of $127, as reported in the association’s official rate update.

Silver prices followed the upward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola rising to Rs 9,933, an increase of Rs 64 during trading.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 24-karat silver increased to Rs 8,515, while international silver prices rose to $94.58, based on interbank exchange rates.
