The Punjab government has approved the formation of a drone squad across the province, including Lahore, to enhance law enforcement, surveillance, and public safety.

Police officials said 159 advanced night-vision drones will be procured for deployment across Punjab, with Lahore receiving 20 drones, 98 drones assigned to tehsils, and 41 to district operations.
