The National Savings Centre in Lahore will host the first Rs1,500 prize bond draw of the year, attracting widespread interest from citizens hoping to secure cash rewards.

The draw is scheduled to take place on 16 February 2026 in Lahore, according to the announced timetable for prize bond draws.

Under existing rules, Pakistani citizens can purchase prize bonds from State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation offices, authorised commercial bank branches and National Savings Centres, after submitting an application with a valid CNIC copy.

Prize money can be claimed at SBP-BSC field offices, designated bank branches or National Savings Centres by completing the prescribed claim form.

The State Bank says the first prize carries a cash award of Rs3 million, while three second prizes of Rs1 million each will also be distributed.

A total of 1,696 third prizes will be awarded, with each successful bond holder receiving Rs18,500. Prize money will be subject to withholding tax based on the winner’s tax-filer status.

Tax filers will face a deduction of 15 per cent, while non-filers will be taxed at 30 per cent.
