PSL 11 Schedule Finalized with New Teams

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized the preliminary schedule for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which will commence on March 26, 2026. This season will feature the inclusion of two new franchises, expanding the competition and promising an exciting tournament across multiple cities.
The opening match is set to be played at Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium, where the defending champions Lahore Qalandars will face off against one of the new teams, the Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen. Practice sessions for all teams are scheduled from March 22 to 25 ahead of the tournament’s start.

Matches will be hosted in six cities: Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar. Notably, Peshawar Zalmi will play their first match on March 28 against Islamabad United under floodlights, marking the first PSL matches to be held in Peshawar.
The playoff stage will begin with Qualifier One on May 2 in Rawalpindi, followed by Eliminator One and Eliminator Two on May 3 and May 5 respectively, both at Qaddafi Stadium. The final is scheduled for May 10, with the venue likely to be Qaddafi Stadium, though an official announcement is pending.
This season will see participation from the original franchises Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators, alongside the new entrants: Pindis, Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen, and Sialkot Stallions.
The PCB did not renew the contract of the Multan Sultans franchise. The new owners have rebranded the team as Pindis. Meanwhile, the Sialkot Stallions franchise is currently facing financial challenges, with a potential new investor considering renaming the team to Multan. The situation is expected to be resolved in the coming days.
