The association confirmed that the quoted gold purity standard was 999, equivalent to 24-karat. The rates were issued under the authority of Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, President of the All-Pakistan Sarafa-Gems and Jewellers Association.
The increase in both gold and silver prices reflects the day’s adjustment in international bullion markets and currency-linked pricing under the interbank exchange rate mechanism.
