Court Restores Ducky Bhai’s Frozen Bank Accounts

A judicial magistrate on Monday ordered the restoration of the previously frozen bank accounts of YouTuber Ducky Bhai in connection with an ongoing case over the alleged promotion of online gambling apps.
Magistrate Naeem Wattoo granted the digital content creator access to his financial accounts and permitted him to resume uploading videos on his YouTube channel under a key condition: he must not mention or discuss the ongoing legal proceedings in any future uploads.

The court was told the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had raised objections to 27 specific videos on his channel. The judge directed that those videos remain online and not be deleted at this stage of the investigation.
During the hearing, an NCCIA technical witness testified, but the agency’s prosecutor was absent. The magistrate subsequently adjourned the case until March 11 pending further testimony and evidence.
Ducky Bhai was initially arrested in August 2025 in the gambling app promotion case. He was later granted bail by the Lahore High Court on November 24, 2025. After his release, he publicly accused NCCIA officials of physical torture and humiliation while in custody—allegations that have not been adjudicated in court.
The ongoing legal matter reflects broader concerns and enforcement actions in Pakistan regarding social media influencers and the promotion of online gambling platforms under cybercrime and electronic transaction laws.
