Gold Prices fall to Rs533,262 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Friday, with the rate of 24-karat gold dropping to Rs533,262 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The association said the price declined by Rs7,100 per tola compared with the previous trading session. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs457,186, reflecting a decrease of Rs6,087.Gold Prices Rise Sharply in Pakistan

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined to Rs419,102 after falling by Rs5,580, the association’s daily rate sheet showed.

International gold prices also moved lower during the session. The global bullion rate was quoted at $5,105, down by $71 from the previous level.

Silver prices in the domestic market also registered a notable decline. The price of 24-karat silver dropped to Rs8,851 per tola after falling by Rs324.

Meanwhile, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat silver decreased to Rs7,588, reflecting a decline of Rs278.

In international markets, silver prices were recorded at $83.67, down by $3.24.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said the local bullion rates are calculated on the basis of interbank exchange rates and global market prices. The association listed the purity standard for gold at 999 for 24-karat bullion.
