Haval H6GT PHEV Set to Launch in Pakistan in 2026

The Haval H6GT Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is expected to make its official debut in Pakistan later this year, marking a significant addition to the country’s growing market for hybrid and electric automobiles.
Recently, an H6GT model was spotted on the roads in Pakistan, sparking speculation about its availability. However, Sazgar, the company responsible for importing and assembling several Chinese auto brands in Pakistan, clarified that the observed unit was a private, non-custom-paid import and not an official release by the company.
Despite this, Sazgar has confirmed plans to introduce the Haval H6GT PHEV to the Pakistani market in 2026. The final pricing remains uncertain as it will depend on the country’s upcoming budget decisions, but the company aims to position the H6GT as a premium offering in its lineup.
The Haval H6GT is a sportier, coupe-style variant of the established Haval H6 midsize SUV. It features a sloping roofline and revised rear design, along with a more dynamic exterior that includes larger wheels and sportier bumpers. The vehicle caters to buyers looking for a more stylish and contemporary SUV without sacrificing utility.
Internationally, the H6GT is available in two major configurations: a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol variant and a plug-in hybrid variant powered by a 1.5-liter turbo PHEV powertrain. The latter, which Sazgar plans to bring to Pakistan, boasts impressive specifications including 430 horsepower, 642 Nm of torque, an all-wheel-drive system, and a 35.4 kWh battery providing an electric-only range of approximately 183 kilometers. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 4.58 seconds, underscoring its sporty intentions.
With rising fuel prices in Pakistan, currently surpassing Rs. 400 per liter, the introduction of hybrid and PHEV models like the Haval H6GT comes at a time when consumers are increasingly considering fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles. The H6GT PHEV is expected to attract buyers seeking an innovative combination of performance, style, and efficiency.
The vehicle is likely to be positioned as a flagship model in Haval’s local portfolio, providing a sportier alternative to traditional SUVs in the segment. However, the ultimate success of the H6GT in Pakistan’s market will depend largely on competitive pricing, given the country’s sensitive demand dynamics and the cost-conscious nature of local consumers.
Sazgar’s move to introduce the H6GT PHEV aligns with the broader shift in Pakistan’s automotive landscape, which is gradually embracing greener technologies amid rising fuel costs and increasing environmental awareness.
Further details regarding launch dates, pricing, and full specifications will be announced as the official release nears. Pakistani auto enthusiasts and potential buyers are encouraged to stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
