Apna Meter Apni Reading, A Friendly Mobile Application: IESCO

Engineer Ch. Khalid Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer of IESCO, has said that Federal Government and Ministry of Energy vision is to promote Digitalization and transparency in the power sector of Pakistan and  recently launched Apna Meter Apni Reading mobile application is a series of these initiatives.

He said that through Apna Meter Apni Reading mobile application  consumers have been made part of the billing circle. By using this digital mobile application  esteemed IESCO consumers can take their own meter reading on the specified date and send it to the relevant SDO offices, which will ensure timely and 100 percent accurate meter reading that’s will eliminate meter reading complaints in IESCO region and will develop customers confidence on IESCO.

He stated that the downloading of the Apna Meter Apni Reading Meter mobile application by consumers is increasing rapidly, which proves that consumers are benefiting from this mobile application.

IESCO Chief  has directed all  field officers and staff to guide valued consumers about the downloading procedure, usage, and benefits of this mobile application.

He added that consumers can download the Apna Meter Apni Reading Meter mobile application from the Play Store and Apple Store. Furthermore a comprehensive awareness campaign is also being run for consumers on IESCO’s social media pages.
