Arshad Nadeem Wins Consecutive Javelin Gold
Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal for the second consecutive time at the National Games in Karachi, recording a throw of 81.81 metres.
The javelin final featured 16 athletes, with the top eight qualifying for the last three rounds of the competition.
Arshad again demonstrated his dominance, securing the top spot and delighting fans with a composed and effective series of throws.
The 35th edition of the National Games is currently underway in Karachi and showcases Pakistan’s best sporting talent across multiple disciplines.
After his victory, Arshad described the event as a major competition for young athletes and expressed his happiness that such platforms exist.

He told reporters that events like the National Games had helped his career and that he hoped many athletes would follow a similar path and make Pakistan proud.
Arshad explained that his focus at the National Games was on winning the gold medal rather than attempting an exceptionally large throw.
He also said he trains regularly with many young athletes, sharing tips and mentoring them, and that he supports his younger brother during competitions.
Looking ahead, Arshad said his primary objective is the 2028 Olympics and that his present priority is preparation for that event.
