Asia Cup Controversy Deepens as ACC Removes Fixture Update
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has come under fire after deleting a social media post that announced a do-or-die clash between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates in the Asia Cup.
The post, which appeared earlier today, stated that the two sides would face each other in a knockout match where the winner would progress and the loser would exit the tournament.
However, it was quickly taken down without explanation, leaving fans and analysts questioning the transparency of ACC’s communication.
This development has added further controversy to an already tense tournament, where administrative decisions have been as closely scrutinised as on-field performances.

Adding to the turmoil, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has intensified its stance against match referee Andy Pycroft.
PCB sources confirmed that a second letter has been sent to the International Cricket Council (ICC), rejecting its earlier decision not to investigate Pycroft.
The PCB has warned that Pakistan will not play matches officiated by Pycroft, reiterating its threat to boycott games if the issue is ignored.
Officials also criticised the ICC inquiry process as incomplete and lacking consultation with key stakeholders.
