Disgruntled Biden with Imran Khan, Embraces Shahbaz Sharif

Though US President Biden was in hate with former Prime Minister Imran Khan, he has been enjoying a relationship with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
No doubt Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has been very favourite of United States (US) President Joe Biden.
The US Biden administration feels that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and U.S. President Joe Biden have the same agenda, especially on renewable energy.

But the game is on now as Biden is struggling to become President for a second term in upcoming US elections.
No doubt, former President Donald Trump is a strong candidate and a constant threat to Biden.
Pakistan’s PTI leader is also betting on Donald Trump and hoping for some relief in Pakistan in case Donald Trump becomes the new President in the upcoming elections in 2024.
According to a recent survey, the Republican Party candidate and former US President Donald Trump is believed to win the election in 2024.
According to the final results of a survey conducted by Marquette Law School, 51% of registered voters have pledged to vote for Trump whereas 49 percent expressed a desire to vote for Joe Biden.
However, Trump’s support was up to 52 percent and Biden’s support decreased to 48% when accounting for potential voters.
PTI has also strong support in the United States (US) where the Pakistani community is also lobbying in favour of Imran Khan.
This support will also result in getting more votes for Donald Trump by Asians.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said in response to Biden’s letter that Pakistan gave high priority to its ties with the United States of America.
Pakistani premier also highlighted that the two countries were working on various significant fronts that included energy, climate change, agriculture, health, and education sectors.
PM Shahbaz welcomed the cooperation between the two countries on the energy sector and Green Alliance framework.
Pakistani prime minister has also shown willingness to work with the US in different areas to achieve shared goals of global peace and stability that can be milestones for achieving progress and prosperity in the region.
The US President had written a letter to the Pakistani prime minister on March 29 and committed to extend support for Pakistan’s newly-formed government to address “the most pressing global and regional challenges of our time.”
This shows how Pakistan and the US administration were committed to working jointly to address issues causing hurdles in regional peace.
Two slides were also committed to work in areas of energy and climate cooperation.
Biden administration was keen to work on renewable energy and wanted to share expertise and cooperation with Pakistan to achieve goals of green energy.
US authorities believed that Biden and Shahbaz Sharif were on the same page to achieve the desired goals of green energy to address climate issues.
