RDA declares Blue World City Scheme illegal & unauthorized

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority—RDA—has declared the launch and advertisement of Blue World City, Chakri Road, Rawalpindi illegal under section 56 of Punjab Private Housing Scheme & Land Sub-Division Rules 2010.

The RDA’s letter addressed to Saad Nazir and Ch Nadeem Ejaz of Blue World City Housing Scheme, Rawalpindi, “The Society has organized an inauguration ceremony of Overseas Block the other day at your illegal scheme site and invited Shahid Khan Afridi—Renowned Cricketer as Chief Guest to grab the attention of the general public for your housing project.”

The RDA has declared the scheme illegal and it has already taken legal action and multiple FIRs have been registered in the concerned police station. At this time, earlier Planning Permission was also withdrawn due to illegal activity of illegal marketing & development to final approval, the letter added.

The scheme has also not completed the required approval as per provisions of Punjab Private Housing Schemes & Land Sub-Division Rules 2010, therefore, the RDA declared the Scheme, “Illegal and unauthorized,” concludes the letter.
