The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has officially released the results for Pre-Engineering First Year 2025, confirming a relatively low overall pass percentage.
According to the examination department, a total of 19,433 students had registered for this year’s exams, while 19,023 actually appeared in the annual assessments.
Examination Supervisor Zarina Rashid announced that only 8,569 candidates managed to clear all six subjects, which resulted in an overall pass rate of 45 percent.
Officials noted that despite thousands appearing for the exams, less than half achieved success, reflecting the continuing academic challenges faced by students this year.
