FPSC Announces CSS 2024 Final Results
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially declared the final results of the Central Superior Services CSS Examination 2024.
A total of 15,602 candidates appeared in the written examination this year, and only 397 successfully passed the initial stage, resulting in a very low success rate.
After completing interviews and other assessment procedures, the FPSC has recommended 229 candidates for appointment to Grade-17 positions across various federal services.
Among the recommended candidates, 119 are male and 110 are female, highlighting gender representation in one of the most competitive examinations.
Top positions on the merit list were secured by Muhammad Shafay Ijaz in first place, followed by Sana Rasool in second and Momina Azhar in third.
The CSS is considered one of most prestigious annual competitive exams, supervised and conducted by the FPSC to select qualified candidates for federal roles.

FPSC extended congratulations to all successful candidates and wished them a prosperous career while serving the nation in their new federal government roles.
Last week, FPSC announced 364 vacancies to be filled through the Central Superior Services Competitive Examination 2024 across various federal services in Pakistan.
These vacancies include 247 fresh posts and 117 carried-over positions, finalised under Rule 19 of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019.
Provincial and regional distribution allocates 179 seats to Punjab, 48 to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 31 to Balochistan, 32 to rural Sindh, 29 to urban Sindh, 15 to former FATA, and 12 to other regions.
The allocation includes 214 open merit seats, 32 for women, and 118 for minorities, with assignments based on merit, domicile, and candidate preferences across federal groups.
