The Federal Public Service Commission has released the official schedule for the Competitive Examination 2026, outlining the dates for all written papers.
According to the commission, the CSS 2026 written examinations will begin on February 4. The two compulsory English papers will be held on February 4 and February 5.
The three General Knowledge papers are scheduled for February 6, 7, and 8. The Islamic Studies paper, or the Comparative Study of Religions for non-Muslim candidates, will take place on February 9.

FPSC said the examinations for optional subjects will start on February 10 and will continue until February 15.
The commission confirmed that all papers will be conducted in both morning and evening sessions, following the approved timetable.
Candidates have been advised to complete their preparations in line with the issued schedule.
FPSC added that instructions regarding roll number slips and examination centres will be announced separately.
