Ghandhara Nissan Ltd is going to expand its business and decides now to introduce an automotive ‘Cherry’ in Pakistan.
The joint venture will result in bringing investment and creating jobs in Pakistan. Ghandhara Nissan Limited will be expanding plants to introduce a new brand with a joint venture of a Chinese company.
Ghandhara Nissan Ltd has signed Co-operation Agreements with Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. This is one of the leading automotive brands in China. Chery has turned into an industry leader, making a global footprint during the last 25 years.
The company is a subsidiary of Bibojee Services (Private) Limited incorporated on August 8, 1981, in Pakistan as a private limited company. It converted into a public limited company subsequently on May 24, 1992.

Holding Company has a principal business of manufacturing vehicles. They have manufactured JAC Trucks. They have been importing vehicles and selling Nissan, Dongfeng, and Renault vehicles in Completely Built-up condition and assembly of other vehicles under a contract agreement.
Now Ghandhara Nissan Limited has signed an agreement with a Chinese automobile company to introduce a new brand of vehicle in Pakistan by expanding business.
Furthermore, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing sedans, commercial vehicles, passenger cars, light trucks, and other products. The company has a footprint worldwide and now plans to make a footprint in Pakistan by a joint partnership with a Pakistani automaker.
Moreover, the Chinese investor had laid the foundation of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd on January 8, 1997, in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China.
The company has gradually set up a complete technology and product R&D system. It has several famous series, including EXCEED, ARRIZO, TIGGO, QQ, and FULWIN.
Chery exports products to more than 80 countries and regions in the world. It has two joint ventures and owns other brands, such as JAGUAR, LAND ROVER and QOROS, etc.
Meanwhile, the company has sold more than 7 million units so far and made Chery the first Chinese automobile brand whose sales have exceeded 7 million units. Its total export volume has touched the 1.3 million mark that made it the number one brand in China for the last 15 years.
