Giraffe Café Set to Bring Wildlife Dining to Lahore

Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has announced plans to establish first-ever Giraffe Café at Lahore Safari Park, offering visitors wildlife interaction and leisure dining.

The initiative follows the recent arrival of two giraffes from South Africa, marking a significant development in expanding the park’s attractions and improving visitor engagement.

Unlike conventional enclosures, the upcoming café will allow guests to feed and interact with giraffes in an open, natural, and safely designed environment.

Officials stated that the café will include elevated decks, allowing visitors to dine at eye level with giraffes, similar to wildlife cafés in Kenya and Thailand.

The project aims to promote eco-tourism, encourage wildlife conservation awareness, and enhance Lahore’s reputation as a vibrant center for recreational and family-friendly experiences.

Tourism experts believe the Giraffe Café will attract families, local tourists, and social media influencers seeking memorable and immersive experiences with nature and wildlife.

The initiative is also expected to strengthen Lahore’s standing as an emerging tourism destination that combines entertainment, education, and conservation-focused outdoor attractions.

Although no official opening date has been announced, authorities confirmed that construction work and final preparations for the café are currently progressing at full pace.
