Global Broadcasters Set for Pakistan–SA Cricket Fest

Former South Africa Test captain Shaun Pollock will return to Pakistan as part of the commentary team for the upcoming two-Test series starting 12 October.

The second Test between Pakistan and South Africa will be held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 20 to 24 October under tight security arrangements.

Pollock, who played five Tests in Pakistan during the 1997 and 2003 tours, will join Aamir Sohail, Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis and Bazid Khan.

The series, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle, promises high-quality cricket action and expert on-field and studio analysis.

PCB PitchSide Studio, hosted by Zainab Abbas, will feature detailed pre-match and post-match discussions with former players and experienced cricket broadcasters.

The program will deliver tactical insights and highlight key moments throughout the series to enhance the overall viewing experience for global cricket audiences.

The white-ball leg of the tour includes three T20Is in Rawalpindi and Lahore, followed by three ODIs at Faisalabad Iqbal Stadium from 28 October.

Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja will again feature in the commentary team alongside former Pakistan captain Urooj Mumtaz for the limited-overs matches.

South Africa’s JP Duminy and Vernon Philander will also join the panel to share expert opinions and provide in-depth analysis during the white-ball series.

Zainab Abbas will continue as presenter during the T20I and ODI series, ensuring smooth and engaging coverage for both local and international audiences.

The high-definition broadcast will employ 28 cameras, including a buggy cam, to deliver dynamic visuals and enhance the production quality of the coverage.

HawkEye and UltraEdge technology will be part of the Decision Review System, ensuring transparency and precision in on-field decision-making throughout the matches.

Fans in Pakistan can watch the entire series live on A Sports and Ten Sports, while Tapmad and Tamasha will offer digital streaming.

International viewers can tune in via Willow TV in North America, SuperSport in sub-Saharan Africa, Dialog TV in Sri Lanka, and TSports in Bangladesh.

Cricbuzz will also stream live coverage across the Middle East and North Africa, allowing global cricket fans to follow every moment of the series.
