Gold prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on Tuesday after the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association announced a fall in domestic rates.
The association said 24K gold per tola fell by Rs1,900, settling at Rs441,862.
Updated rates for 09 December 2025 show 24K gold at Rs378,825 per 10 grams, down by Rs1,629, and 22K gold at Rs347,268 per 10 grams, down by Rs1,494.
The international gold price fell by $19, reaching $4,195.

Silver prices remained unchanged, with 24K silver at Rs6,102 per tola and Rs5,231 per 10 grams, and the international silver price at $58.30.
The association said the local rates are calculated using interbank exchange market prices and noted that 24K gold has a purity of 999.
Markets and traders reacted to the international movement, leading to the domestic adjustments announced by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
