Pakistan’s interbank gold prices surged sharply by Rs 9200 per tola on Monday, which reflected strong gains across bullion benchmarks nationwide.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed to Rs464,762, marking a single-day increase of Rs9,200.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose to Rs398,458, posting an increase of Rs7,888.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold settled at Rs365,266 after gaining Rs7,231.

International gold prices were quoted at $4,424 per ounce, up $92 on the day.
The domestic bullion market typically mirrors international price movements adjusted for interbank exchange rates.

Silver prices also recorded strong upward momentum during the session.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased to Rs8,023, showing a rise of Rs267.

The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat silver climbed to Rs6,878, up Rs229 from the previous close.
International silver prices were quoted at $75.48 per ounce, reflecting a gain of $2.67.

According to the issued notice, gold rates were calculated using prevailing interbank exchange rates. The quoted gold purity was listed as 999 fine, corresponding to 24-karat international standards.
