Gold rate jumps to Rs543,262 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan surged sharply on Wednesday, while silver prices stayed unchanged in domestic markets.
Gold prices in Pakistan rose strongly on Wednesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The association released updated bullion rates for Wednesday dated 11 March 2026. The price of 24 karat gold per tola reached Rs543,262 on Wednesday. The rate recorded a significant increase of Rs37,000 compared with the previous session. This jump pushed the domestic bullion market to a sharply higher trading level.
Similarly, the price of 24 karat gold per 10 grams climbed to Rs465,759. The rate increased by Rs3,172 during the same trading session on Wednesday. Market data shows the increase reflecting strong movement in underlying benchmark calculations.
Gold of 22 karat purity also recorded a notable increase during Wednesday trading. The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold reached Rs426,961. This benchmark price increased by Rs2,908 according to the association’s released data.
The updated bullion rates were issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The association said prices are calculated using prevailing interbank exchange rate benchmarks. The data also reflects movements in international bullion reference prices.
International gold prices were quoted at $5,205 in the latest released figures. The international benchmark recorded an increase of $37 during the session. The movement contributed to the upward adjustment in Pakistan’s domestic gold prices.
While gold prices rose sharply, silver prices remained unchanged in the latest update. The price of silver per tola stayed at Rs9,354 in Pakistan. No change was recorded compared with the previous trading session.
Silver prices per 10 grams also remained stable according to the association’s data. The rate for 10 grams of silver stayed at Rs8,019. Market data showed no increase or decrease during the Wednesday update.
International silver prices also remained unchanged in the latest market figures. The international silver benchmark was quoted at $88.70. The data showed no variation from the previous recorded price.
The bullion rates were issued under the authority of the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, president of the association, endorsed the released pricing data. The association said all rates are based on interbank exchange rate calculations.
The issued data also confirmed that the quoted gold rates reflect 999 purity. This purity standard corresponds to 24 karat gold used in the market benchmark. The association publishes these standardized prices for bullion traders across Pakistan.
