Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday in line with international gains, while silver prices climbed sharply to record an unprecedented all-time high.
In the local market, gold price per tola increased by Rs2,600 during the day to reach Rs454,862, according to market data shared locally.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,229 and was sold at Rs389,970, according to APGJSA rates released on Monday nationwide.

On Saturday, gold price per tola stood at Rs452,262 after falling by Rs2,000 during the day in local markets earlier trading session.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $26 to reach $4,325 per ounce, including a $20 premium during the session reported.
Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs68 to reach Rs6,532 per tola, marking a new all-time high in the domestic market on Monday.
