Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, reflecting global market trends, with the price per tola reaching Rs524,762 after an increase of Rs5,300 during regular trading hours.
Ten-gram gold also rose sharply, selling at Rs449,898 after recording a daily gain of Rs4,544, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) market update on Monday.
On Saturday, gold per tola had increased by Rs11,700 to reach Rs519,462, mirroring strong international demand and contributing to upward pressure on domestic prices across major cities in Pakistan.

Internationally, gold rates rose by $53, reaching $5,020 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium, reflecting consistent gains and providing a benchmark for price adjustments in local markets.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase, rising by Rs346 to reach Rs8,615 per tola, continuing the upward trend of precious metals in Pakistan amid fluctuating global rates.
