Government to Form National Digital Commission Soon: Shaza
ISLAMABAD: Shaza Fatima, the Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication, has announced that the government will soon set up a National Digital Commission to ensure the digitization of the national economy and the transition to paperless governance.Government committed to Digital Pakistan Vision: Shaza Fatima
During a press conference in Islamabad today, she stated that the commission will be chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif due to its significant role.
Emphasizing the advantages of digitizing the national economy, Shaza Fatima mentioned that it will enhance governance and tax collection efficiency, as well as streamline inter-ministerial coordination.
Describing paperless governance as crucial for accelerating government operations, she noted that it will help eliminate obstacles in governmental procedures.
The Minister of State also revealed that over four billion rupees have been allocated for training youth in the IT sector.
