Govt retrieves land of Rs 16bn from Bahria

Islamabad: The PTI government has retrieved 510 kanals of land worth 16 billion from Bahria Enclave-Kuri road grabbed by business tycoon Malik Riaz.

The PTI government has retrieved total 12751 kanals land worth Rs 403 billion during a crackdown against land grabbers.

Sources told Newztodays.com that the PTI government had retrieved 600 kanals of land worth Rs 18.9 billion from Park Enclave.

Park Enclave phase-II and 600 kanals of state land also cleared. The development work of road infrastructure also started.

In Model Town Humak, the operation started on July 27, 2020, and 80 different structures razed with heavy machinery. During the operation, 30 kanals of prime land recovered from land grabbers.
