Honda’s 6th generation City Car-Prices, Specs and Features
Honda Atlas, the third-largest automaker in Pakistan has finally launched a new model of car-its 6th generation City model in Pakistan at a base price of Rs2.599 million.

In a virtual ceremony, Honda Company officially unveiled the new model of the car. The city had a makeover a few years ago, but Pakistan’s customers hadn’t witnessed a generation shift since 2009.
The introduction coincides with the release of the company’s first-quarter financial results (April to June 2021). The fiscal year of the corporation closes in March.
According to the notification, the company earned Rs928.2 million, translating to an EPS of Rs6.5. The outcome stands in stark contrast to the same period the previous year when it declared a loss of Rs511.02 million due to virus outbreak lockdowns.
Previously, Honda apparently pre-booked roughly 12,000 units without disclosing the vehicle’s pricing, according to market speculation, with the majority of orders likely coming from dealers and showroom owners.
Variants of Honda City
The new Honda City will be available in five makes and models: 1.2LS MT, 1.2LS CVT, 1.5LS CVT, 1.5LAS MT, and 1.5LAS CVT, with a 1,200cc engine capable of producing 88hp and 110 Nm of torque, 1.5LS CVT, 1.5LAS MT, and 1.5LAS CVT, with a 1,500cc engine capable of producing 118hp and 145 Nm of torque.
Bookings for the Honda City are now available without a specific delivery date.
Honda city 6th generation price in Pakistan
The base model of the next Honda City costs PKR 2.599 million, while the top-of-the-line 1.5L Aspire CVT costs PKR 3.174 million.
The current City model costs PKR 2.449 million for the base 1.3L manual, and PKR 2.859 million for the 1.5L Aspire.
Each of the versions is priced as follows:
Rs2.59 million for 1.2L MT
Rs2.79 million for a 1.2L CVT
Rs2.89 million for a 1.5L CVT
1.5 Aspire MT costs Rs3.019 million.

Booking
Honda had invited advanced bookings for its City versions beginning May 17, without specifying the price range. It only stated that advance orders for the base City variant would begin at Rs. 1 million and for the Aspire variants at Rs. 1.2 million.
Exterior
Premium Dual Barrel Halogen Headlights with Integrated DRLs are standard across the board. The Rear Lighting have Advanced Wrap-Around Bulb lights, and the Fog Lamps (Bulb) are optional in the first three types but standard in the top two.
The 1500cc AS Manual and CVT feature 15-inch Alloy Wheels, whereas the other three models have 15-inch Steel Wheels. As a Spare Tyre, all five models offer a 15-inch Steel Wheel.
Interior
Across the lineup, the inside boasts a dual-tone beige/black theme, with Aspire offering a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, touch-operated auto AC, rear vents, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, and push-button engine start/stop.
The other models will have a 7-inch touchscreen, manual air conditioning with traditional knobs, and restricted controls on one side of the steering wheel.

Meanwhile, the first three models include Keyless Entry with Trunk Opener, while the remaining two (1500cc Aspire MT & 1500 Aspire CVT) feature Smart Key Entry.

Engine
The SOHC i-VTec 4-Cylinder 16-Valve engine is found in all models. The first two models are powered by a 1199cc engine with 88hp and 110Nm torque.
Meanwhile, the remaining three models are powered by a 1497cc engine that produces 118hp and 145Nm of torque.
The two manual types (1200cc and 1500cc) use 5-speed manual transmissions, while the other three use CVT transmissions.

Here are the specs and features of the new car model of Honda. The first three Honda City 6th Generation models do not have Push Start, Auto Air Conditioner, or Rear AC vents, although the others do.
Ivory is the inside color of all five models. Meanwhile, the Driver Seat Height Adjustment Option is available on all configurations. In the top two variations, the Retractable Sideview Mirrors are Auto + Electric, whereas the remainder of the variants are merely Electric.

Tilt and Telescopic Electronic Power Steering is standard on all models, making driving the automobile a breeze and a pleasure.
The first three variations have a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while the remaining two have a 9-inch screen.
Safety
ABS + EBD, Dual Airbags, and Auto Door Lock at Speed are standard safety equipment on all five models, as are Disc Brakes in front and Drum Brakes in back.
Only the base model (1200cc Manual) lacks Cruise Control, whilst the rest of the variations have it as an option. The rear camera is optional in the first three varieties, while it is standard in the top two.
Other safety features include an ISOFIX child seat, an ACE Body Structure, an ECU Immobilizer, a Security Alarm, an Impact Mitigating Headset, and Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Technology.

The second engine is a 1.5-liter, normally aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 118 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Depending on the version, both engines can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
