How to Check Traffic Challans via Karachi’s Tracks Citizen
The Karachi Traffic Police has launched a mobile application called “Tracks Citizen” to help motorists check vehicle details and traffic fines through a digital platform.
The app allows users to view all vehicles registered under their CNIC and monitor any e-challans or violations recorded under their name.
After registration, all vehicles linked with a user’s ID automatically appear on the dashboard, offering instant access to challan and violation records.
Available on both Android and iOS devices, Tracks Citizen also provides real-time alerts for any new traffic offenses committed by registered vehicles.
Each notification includes a warning message followed by a digital e-ticket, enabling users to respond to violations promptly without visiting traffic police offices.

The app was launched following Karachi’s new e-challan system, which issued fines exceeding Rs12.5 million within six hours of its initial rollout.
During the first phase, over 2,600 e-challans were issued for various violations, including overspeeding, helmetless riding, red-signal breaches, and not wearing seatbelts.
Additional offenses, such as mobile phone use while driving, lane violations, and tinted windows, were also captured through the city’s surveillance network.
According to a Karachi Traffic Police spokesperson, the initiative aims to improve transparency, efficiency, and accountability within the traffic enforcement system.
Officials believe the Tracks Citizen app will help promote road safety, simplify fine management, and ensure better compliance with traffic regulations across the city.
