iPhone 18 Pro Max Rumored to Offer Multi-Day Battery Life

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to deliver significant improvements in battery life, potentially lasting between 1.5 to 2 days on a single charge, according to reports from leaker Digital Chat Station cited by MacRumors.
The current iPhone 17 Pro Max is already praised for its impressive battery performance, with users noting they rarely need to recharge during the day even after six months of use. The iPhone 18 Pro Max aims to build on this by featuring a slightly larger battery, with a capacity estimated between 5,100 and 5,200 mAh, surpassing the 5,088 mAh battery of its predecessor.

In addition to the larger battery, the new model is expected to incorporate Apple’s latest A20 Pro chip, produced using TSMC’s advanced 2-nanometer manufacturing process. This chip is anticipated to deliver enhanced energy efficiency compared to the A19 Pro chip found in the iPhone 17 Pro Max, contributing further to extended battery life.
Alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, Apple is rumored to launch a foldable iPhone Fold model next fall. This device is expected to house an even larger 5,500 mAh battery to support its 7.8-inch unfolded display. However, the increased screen size may lead to higher power consumption, making it unclear which device will ultimately offer superior battery longevity.
Despite the premium pricing, with the iPhone Fold potentially costing over $2,000, these advancements suggest that battery life will no longer be a major concern for users investing in Apple’s flagship devices.
