KP Launches New Salary Payment System for Employees
The provincial government of KP has introduced a revised salary payment system for government employees to ensure faster and more efficient disbursements.
According to the details, under the new mechanism, salaries will now be paid directly by the Accountant General Office rather than being processed through banks.
As per the official sources, the previous system often led to delays as payments routed through banks caused administrative hurdles.
The new policy allows funds to be transferred straight from the Accountant General Office to employees’ personal accounts, significantly improving the process.
Officials confirmed that most government employees in Peshawar received their salaries before October 1, while the remaining departments were paid on the same day.
Last month, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had approved an interest-free loan scheme for its employees to support their transportation needs.
