LNG Prices for SSGC consumers up, down for SNGPL
The oil and gas regulatory authority (Ogra) has notified a 1.5 percent hike in the price of LNG for consumers of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) due to losses despite witnessing a decline in prices in the global market.
The reduction in RLNG prices is due to a decrease in RLNG Brent prices in the international market. Ogra reduces LNG prices by 20.5%
However, in the case of RLNG price for the distribution network of SSGC, the UFG losses impact of the relevant network has resulted in a net increase in RLNG price,” Ogra said in a statement.
However, the price of RLNG for consumers on a network of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) will enjoy relief of 0.54 percent on the distribution network due to a reduction in prices in the global market.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in accordance with the Policy Guidelines of the Federal Government has determined the Regasified Liquified Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for sui companies effective from July 1 st, 2023.
