Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Friday, following a downward trend in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market dropped by Rs21,400, reaching Rs507,762.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs18,347, closing at Rs435,324, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Earlier this week, on Wednesday, the price of gold per tola had risen by Rs14,800, reaching Rs529,162.

The decline in domestic gold rates mirrored a fall in international prices, where gold dropped by $214 to settle at $4,850 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.

Silver prices also saw a decrease, falling by Rs1,430 to close at Rs7,825 per tola.
