MOIB terms article on visit of Chinese delegation to Pakistan as misleading

ISLAMABAD: The Fact Check Division of the Information Ministry has dismissed an article published in “The Diplomat” magazine about a high-level Chinese delegation’s visit to Pakistan as unfounded and deceptive.
According to the Information Ministry, the article is based on inaccurate premises and misleading context. The Ministry clarified that visits by foreign dignitaries occur regularly throughout the year.

In a statement on his X account, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar criticized the article as another unsuccessful effort to harm Pakistan’s longstanding relationship with China. He asserted that such attacks on Pakistan’s foreign policy will not prevail.

The Information Minister added that the article presents a distorted view that does not reflect the true sentiments of the Pakistani people.
