Pak-ID App Adds Feature for Vehicle Transfer Ease
NADRA introduced a digital feature enabling Islamabad-registered vehicle transfer verification directly through biometric authentication on the Pak-ID mobile application platform.
The new update allows citizens to complete remote biometric checks at home before starting the formal vehicle transfer process digitally.
After biometric verification, buyers and sellers only need to visit designated registration offices to finalise paperwork and officially complete transfers.
NADRA added the feature under the ICT Vehicle category, which already hosts digital identity services designed to assist verification procedures.

Officials said the addition will accelerate vehicle transfers by reducing manual checks and strengthening security through mandatory biometric confirmation requirements.
The update aims to reduce long queues at government counters by shifting initial verification steps to users’ smartphones for convenience.
NADRA says the remote verification option will streamline workflow, increase transparency, and give citizens faster processing before reaching offices physically.
