Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Tuesday, reflecting gains in international markets, with local rates increasing during the day, according to market data.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed to Rs467,962 after rising by Rs3,200 over the course of the day.

Similarly, the price of ten gram gold increased to Rs401,201, showing a daily gain of Rs2,743, figures released by APGJSA showed officially.

On Monday, gold prices per tola had reached Rs464,762, recording a sharp increase of Rs9,200 during trading hours in the local market.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $32 to $4,456 per ounce, including a premium of $20 during the trading session.

Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, with the per tola rate rising by Rs338 to settle at Rs8,361 in the local market.
