Pharmaceutical industry growing due to SIFC’s efforts

ISLAMABAD: The pharmaceutical sector is experiencing robust growth, thanks to the initiatives of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

A notable surge of 3.90% was observed in medicine exports during the fiscal year 2023-24, compared to the preceding year.

According to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the current fiscal year’s medicine exports are promising, exceeding the previous year’s exports of $328 million.IT sector witnessing significant growth under auspices of SIFC

In terms of volume, pharmaceutical exports also saw a significant 44% increase, rising from 59,000 metric tons to 85,000 metric tons.
