PM orders for making federal govt offices paperless
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has tasked the Ministry of Information Technology and relevant departments with transitioning all Federal Government offices to a paperless system.

Shehbaz Sharif directed that all office work should be conducted through the e-office system within a month and stated that he would only review files processed through this system.
The Prime Minister highlighted that the adoption of the e-office is a top priority for the government to enhance transparency and improve the administrative process. He instructed that files be sent to all government offices via the e-office.
Following Shehbaz Sharif’s directives, the Prime Minister’s office staff completed their e-office training last week. Additionally, the Prime Minister himself received files through the e-office system last week.
Shehbaz Sharif described the e-office initiative as a crucial step toward advancing digitization and improving governance in Pakistan.
He also requested a progress update on the e-office implementation within the next two weeks.
