PCB, in a statement, said on Friday it took into consideration the health and well-being of professional athletes and the match officials due to the recent deterioration in the air quality caused by an early onset of intense air pollution in Lahore.
It further said that air pollution is likely to deepen next month, the Pakistan Cricket Board decided to relocate scheduled matches at the cricket headquarters to Rawalpindi and Karachi.
The people from Lahore have expressed depression over shifting matches to Rawalpindi and Karachi. They were filled with joy following the good news of PSL5 matches in Lahore.

Former cricketer Inzamam ul Haq has hit Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).PCB had floated a proposal to appoint a new test captain that led to controversy. He had accused that PCB caused a rift among the Pakistan Cricket team ranks by announcing a new test captain.
Earlier, Chief Executive Pakistan Cricket Board Wasim Khan had said that team management would review Azhar Ali’s captaincy before announcing the Test squad against New Zealand. PCB said that it would be done under the supervision of head coach Misbahul Haq.
Inzamam responded to this proposal and spoke on his YouTube channel to criticize the PCB. He advised that PCB Chief Executive have waited until the Zimbabwe series’s outcome to make such a proposal.
The new debate has started now that they would review Azhar Ali’s captaincy. They said that a review would be done before announcing the test squad for the New Zealand tour.
