Saudi Crown Prince gifts worth $26 million to Imran Khan, Claims Govt

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia gave precious gifts worth $26 million (Rs 5.8 billion) to former Prime Minister Imran Khan.  

These gifts were given to former Prime Minister Imran Khan during different occasions.

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman of KSA gave gifts worth US$5 million (Rs. 1.13 billion) on May 10, 2021.

These gifts included Sviga- jewelry set containing 1 necklace, • 1 pair of earrings, 1 bracelet and 1 ring.

The Shahbaz Sharif led government has estimated its value at US$ 5 million (Rs. 1.13 billion).

Then government of Imran Khan has assessed value of these gifts at Rs. 5,859,000 and paid Rs: 2;914;500 (50% of the assessed value).

Saudi Crown Prince presented some other gifts to the ex-PM Imran Khan and the former first lady on September 24, 2020.

Prince gave Graff jewelry set containing 1 necklace, 1 pair of earrings, 1 bracelet and 1 ring.

The current government has assessed its value at US$ 15 million (Rs. 3.38 billion).Saudi Arabia confirms rollover of $3b deposit for one year

Then government of Imran Khan has assessed its value at Rs. 18,092,000 and deposited 9,031,000 (50% of the assessed value) to government treasury on October 26, 2020.

Rolex and accessories for Ex-PM

On the same trip, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman of KSA also presented ex-PM Imran Khan another set containing 1 Rolex, 1 pair of cufflinks, 1 ring and unstitched suit cloth.

Estimated Value

To be ascertained Assessed value by the then government was Rs. 4,900,000 and an amount of Rs. 2,435,000 (50% of the assessed value) was deposited to government treasury on 26th October 2020.

GRAFF 2.0

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman also presented Graff set to the ex-PM Imran Khan on September 19, 2018.

Graff set contained 1 watch with Mecca dial, 1 pair of cufflinks, 1 pen (1,466 diamonds) and 1 ring.

The present government has estimated its value at US$ 6 million (Rs. 1,320 million).

Imran Khan government assessed its value at Rs. 101,420,000 and deposited Rs. 20,178,000 (20% of the assessed value) to government treasury on 8th August, 2019.

The government said that Imran Khan had Sold gifts to Mr. Umer Farooq: US$ 2 million (Rs. 440 million).

Trifoglio jewelry set contains 1 locket with chain, 1 pair of ear tops, 2 bracelets and 2 rings.

The government has estimated value at US$2 million (Rs. 450 million).

Then government of Imran Khan assessed value at Rs. 1,119,400 and Rs. 544,700 (50% of the assessed value) to government treasury on 8th August, 2019.
