The Sindh government has begun preparations to introduce a Youth Card programme designed to provide educational, employment, and sports opportunities to young people across the province.
The initiative was discussed during a meeting at the Sindh Secretariat chaired by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar, where officials reviewed initial proposals.
During the meeting, authorities directed the Sports Department to prepare a comprehensive implementation framework to ensure the programme is structured effectively and delivered across the province.
Senior officials, including Sports Secretary Manzoor Ali Mahesar and other department representatives, attended the session and briefed participants on the early planning and proposed structure.

Minister Mahar instructed officials to design the Youth Card programme in a manner that maximises benefits and expands access to opportunities for the youth population.
He said that, on the special instructions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh Youth Card is expected to be launched before June this year.
The Youth Card programme aims to provide young people with education support, skills training, employment opportunities, scholarships, and improved access to sports facilities throughout Sindh.
