SNGPL’ claims of Rs52.3b outstanding is incorrect: SSGC
The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has said that claim of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) to recover Rs 52.3 billion is an incorrect assertion.
SSGC in a statement said that this is a clarification of a news item published in NewzTodays. The news item says that “Sources told Newztodays.com that SNGPL to receive Rs 191 billion from different clients, including power, industry, and domestic sector, for supplying LNG which includes Rs. 52.3 Billion from SSGC
It is to be clarified that all outstanding till June 2020 are disputed as SSGC claim of UFG based on RLNG Volume Handled already approved by ECC is pending at OGRA level and a Committee constituted by the Chairman, ECC has to resolve it. So, claiming any amount before June 2020 is an incorrect assertion.
However, since June 2020, SSGC & SNGPL has initialed an agreement and SSGCL is complying with it vigorously and making regular monthly payments to SNGPL against RLNG purchases from PSO.
