SNGPL to Suspend Gas Supply in Five Islamabad Sectors
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) announced a temporary suspension of gas supply across five sectors of Islamabad to carry out essential maintenance work.
According to the company, the shutdown would begin at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, and continue until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 9.
The maintenance activity would take place at Shaheen Chowk, E-9, affecting sectors E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, and sector F-8.

Spokesperson said the temporary closure was part of a broader network enhancement plan to strengthen the pipeline system and ensure safer, more reliable gas delivery.
The spokesperson said the maintenance work was essential to enhance gas supply and safety, ensuring improved reliability for all affected residential sectors.
Residents in the affected areas were advised to plan ahead and exercise caution when using gas appliances after the restoration of supply.
