Solar PV System Design Training in Pakistan Concluded Successfully

The training on Solar PV System Designing through Solar PV syst under the GIZ- REEE-II Project “Upgradation of Technical Skills” for 75 persons from AEDB-approved companies finished on 04 January 2024.
The training was provided in three batches each of 25 persons the first two sessions were held at ETRC Lahore, and the third session was held at PPIB (AEDB) Office Islamabad.
First session
The trainer was Engr. Faiz Bhutta Master Trainer and CEO Energy Training and Research Center (ETRC) Lahore, Pakistan. The license of Solar PV Syst 7.4 was provided free of charge to every participant. Pakistan Asks Spain to Set Up Solar Manufacturing Facilities
This was the first training of its kind in Pakistan where the participants learned solar PV system design with pre-downloaded licensed software by participants at their laptops before the session started every participant worked at their laptop and learned to design various on-grid solar PV systems ranging from 100KWp to 1 MWp.
They were given exercises to design the systems and energy participants performed well. Solar PV Syst Switzerland also cooperated with ETRC in subsidizing the 75 Licenses which were given free of charge to participants and valid for one year.
Engr. Asif Farid Distributed PV Expert from GIZ/Integration was the organizer for all three batches of training and training was sponsored by GIZ/Integration in collaboration with PPIB.
The purpose of the training was to impart designing skills to participants so that they design the systems in a highly professional manner as per standards.
The training was highly appreciated by all the participants. The training ended with the promise that quality aspects of the system design will be followed for future PV system designs.
